Cory's Bike

Cory had a little bicycle
Two wheeled human power vehicle
He went up one wheel, came down crashed
Cory's bicycle and face got smashed
Maybe he should stick to a tricycle.

Cory had a big motorcycle
Two wheels short for a true vehicle
He went way too fast and then he crashed
So Cory's body and his bike got smashed
His reward was much more than a tummy tickle.

Such rhyming I've ever seen
as lymericks they are more than lean.
Pictures could be printed
in our minds they are minted.
As the author sees it
with the truth stretched a bit.

Such is life, with each story's telling.
The drama and exageration's swelling.
Poetry's always been lots o fun
We stretch truth for the sake of a pun.
Remember though, to our children, it's history were selling.

Focus determines reality
I only provide my verity
I tell you I am the reporter
Complete truth demands nothing shorter
But discretion may require some brevity!

I'm not in the poetic spirit
nothing is coming I can't hear it
But I now see what Cory's kids look like
Now that he's blonde and they are red
I've forgotten in my head!

where did you get that picture!

That picture came from my photo album, which was a copy of photos that Gatha had.

I think the picture was taken at the Sand Dunes. I am sure it's not one of Cory's favorites, but I couldn't help myself.
