Mom's Here

I'm excited about this undertaking. I think it will bring out family closer and help us know what each person is doing. I'm excited to have each of you as my family;

Hopefully, we can get Bonnie and Emery to join us. If you think of anyone you don't see that needs an invitation, don't hesitate to let me know.

I talked to Bonnie and I think she will soon be on board with us. This is exciting. I can hardly wait to hear all of your messages.

I talked to some of my brothers and sisters about the Ted and Cora blog.
They sounded excited about it.

If they are really excited, we should see them joining shortly. If you find out about people who would like to join that haven't been invited, please email me a rkentvance@gmail.com and I'll insure that they get an invitation.

Our Family Reunion will be held in St George and Pine Vally, this summer,
On June the 13th we will have a temple session for those who want to go. I have wanted to have a session with my children and their mates at one time. We plan to do this and anyone who wants to attend is welcome. On Friday and Saturday, the 14th and 15 we will go to Pine Valley, to Elva's cabin. We will do church on Sunday for those who stay.

In 1946, Arlo and I had been married for 4 months, Dad died and Doris Faye came to live with us. In January 1947 Donnie was born. We lived in Ed Guymon's two room house. It was a very cold night. We had the Model A car and we drained the water out of it every night so it wouldn't freeze.
It was the middle of the night. Arlo had a hard time pouring water into the radiator because he was so excited. We did get to the Alamosa hospital,where Donnie was born. Arlo was so thrilled with his red headed boy.

I think that this is one of the nicest things that has happened to us as a family. It is so good to tell you of some of the past things that have happened and of our thoughts. I'm working on some of the things for our coming family reunion. I love all of you and have wondered what could happen to bring us into each others lives.

In 1954 Larry came to be a part of our family. He is a very important part of my life. I have watched him struggle in many ways, but he is a very smart and good son. I thank Heavenly Father for him. He is very special.

It would be nice if you could include a description of who all the people are when you refer to them, because not everybody will know who they are.
