It use to be a family tradition to go around Labor Day to find wild raspberries, then go back to Grandpa and Grandma's to eat cream puffs which Grandma made with raspberries in the goodie inside. Yummy! Some fun memories!
Going up the mountains and picking raspberries was really a fun thing. Sometimes looking back is really great. I love the memories. I hope the younger grandchildren build good memories together. I would lived to be closer to the younger grandchildren. I love all of you and hope to build better relationships.
In the world we live in it is amazing how quick it is to communicate over long distances. In order to accomplish this though, one must take the action of initiating the communication.

Remember when we used to load up all of us in the Model A with all of our camping gear on the top. Thunder went on top with the camping gear.
I am sure that when people saw us coming they were reminded of Ma and Pa Kettle and their brood.
I remember too that we did a lot of berry picking. That was something that Gloria saw that we did quite a few times after that.
